Marty Keith, owner of Edenbrooke Music, grew up in Paducah Ky. At age 4, Marty began learning how to play the guitar from Herb Chapman, father of GRAMMY and Dove award winning artist Steven Curtis Chapman.
Throughout his early life, Marty played talent shows and county fairs sharpening his skills for the day he could move to Nashville TN and pursue his dream of music. During his college years, Marty moved into music ministry, working with church camps and leading worship which in turn shaped his style of music into what it is today.
Marty studied youth ministry and Bible Doctrine at Christ Unlimited Bible Institute in Kansas City KS. It was there he became involved with leading worship for youth camps for the first time. After that summer, Marty moved back to Paducah to teach guitar at Chapman Music for a number of years. Then, after pursuing a music ministry degree at Ozark Christian College in Joplin MO for 2 years, he finally made the move to Nashville in 2000.
Now, ten years after touring the country numerous times as lead guitarist and sound engineer for True Tunes artist Byron Keith and also as a solo recording artist with New Covenant Records, a songwriter, an ordained worship pastor and youth pastor, radio host and worship seminar teacher and booking agent. Marty has started Edenbrooke Music to serve the Nashville area with high quality music service and teaching. Here is what Marty wants you to know:
